Review content:
I picked Piscataway Auto body as they were about a mile away from my place and had read some good reviews about them online. They were pretty quick in taking my request to check my car and gave a estimate on the very next day. I needed two repars one of them was claimed from my insurance and the other I was paying myself. They gave two separate estimate but did not give the correct number of days required to process the repair that was part of the claim. As per my insurance company that repair was supposed to be 3-4 days and they gave me a car rental only for 4 days. But this autobody told me a week after they took possession of the car that they would need 7 business days to process the claim related repair. My insurance company left them a message to discuss why they need so many days. But even after my repeated calls.. the autobody did not call back the insurance company to clear this confusion. So I ended up getting car rental only for 4 days and had to pay for the remaining days myself. That was not professional and was very frustrating experience for me. Between these two adamant parties, I ended up being the victim. One more thing I noticed that was not professional was that on the day before I went to drop the car for the repair, I requested if I could get a ride back home which was a mile away. I was shocked they said they won't give me a ride. Their excuse saying no one else was in the body shop was lame and dumb because I saw many more employees who were out there in addition to the person who's the owner. But eventually they completed the repair as per their estimate even though it was outrageous to my insurance company. They did a pretty good job on both the repairs. Thats the positive note I have about them.
