I agree with the majority of these posts that Ikon is a scam. This is by far the WORST agency I have ever been with. I probably know of a dozen girls that they still owe money to. They lure girls to NY saying that they are going to make tons of money/be a famous model/etc. and then after you leave they don't pay you what the owe you. I actually did pretty well with them and made a decent amount of money (only saw half of it). The jobs never paid great compared to any of the other agencies that I have been with. I also know of a few girls that they somehow talked into going to NY to ""lose weight"" and some of these girls had strange relationships with Aristeo thinking that it might get them work. The model apartments are terrible. At one point we had 11 people sharing one shower. We were not told that we were going to be living with Aristeo until we got to NY, and we literally found a little Asian mad living in a CLOSET close to Aristeo's room. So strange... And I know for a FACT Cynthia did some showroom modeling and that was it. She never really was a model. Don't let her fool you. There are tons of great agencies in NY. Don't settle for this one.
Pros: our model's apt. was close to a good bakery :)
Cons: who wants to work for crooks?
