I agree with Doc Roc that the Hei n Low is a great spot to lay low with friends. The regular patrons will harness you with a hug and a handshake and the servers will always be welcoming. The patio is beautiful, particularly from March to November. And the renovations really provided a fresh perspective.
In reference to Mr. Lumsden, Winona is flooded with bars that tend to the ""club scene,"" but realistically if you're looking to meet women at a bar, don't go out in Winona on a Sunday afternoon... I call that redunk.
Aside from all that, thank you to the Hei n Low for staying true to it's roots and rockin' Winona whenever it can. I love you guys...
