Review content:
When people are leaving a traumatic situation, especially when children are involved, they don't deserve to be lured into an even more traumatic situation. The Warwick House of Hope offers transitional and long-term housing for people who come from these sorts of circumstances and are looking for affordable housing. After an interview process and careful screening you are then either chosen or not to move into one of their housing units. You are given a standard lease. But what they don't tell you is that they want to own you. I was working full time, single mother, being told that I could not work overtime to pay their rent because it conflicted with a ""MEETING"". These meetings are absolutely useless tidbits of information they wish to shove down your throat and absolutely meant to waste your time, but you deal with them. They take credit for all of your accomplishments that are made ON YOUR OWN, but don't want you to live in a manner that is healthy. The Warwick House of Hope is great if you're a recovering substance abuser, even perpetually in a homeless situation, and you need a certain guidance that maybe you never had. But if you are a perfectly normal, stable, decent human being who fell on hard times or were in a turbulent situation this is DEFINITELY NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU unless you love people butting into your life in ways they have no business doing. Trust me, what they expect of you in reality is not in the lease and they don't bank on the fact that you're smart enough to realize that!
Pros: You have a reasonably priced place to live.
Cons: Say goodbye to building a normal, stable life if you stay.
