Please forgive me--as I'm not really good at writing reveiws but I just had to share this wonderful place with everyone. The Lightner is so special. From the second you pull into the driveway you are at HOME. The Hoovers treat you as long lost friends and are there to assure that you are comfortable and happy. The rooms are so lovely and comfortable. Everything you could want is provided and the bathrobes are yummy!!!You can do as much or as little as you want to. If you need directions-the Hoovers will get you there. Want something a little different to do--they will help you find it! They have just added a Friday night ""Ghost Talk"" with the delightful Miss Betty. She's great and I promise you that you will enjoy it. Eileen says the B&B isn't haunted but I'm not so sure!!!! Breakfast in the dining room is superb. Dennis cooks such special food and if you really like it--as I'm sure you will--they sell a great little cookbook with all their receipes in it.
