Review content:
I come from Chicago where Germantown and all ethnic restaurants are just the best. I went to this restrant about 15 years ago, and continued to go there for the music and being single, to meet guys and giriends there. It was a meeting place for the plus fifty crowd and it was fun. Now it just reminds me of a quiet restaurant that has fallen quietly into dispair. The food was not what I remembered and I wasn't give the cabbage and rye at the table free. Everything was costly and did not have that special flair I remembered. The Weinerschnichel was too crisp and not enough vegs......everything was dipped and fryed. All in all, I wish this place was the same as I remembered, but I guess that's too much to ask. There used to be another German restaurant off Post Oak.......Does anybody remember the name???
