Review content:
I purchased a used 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor, actually previously owned by the owners' sister, six months ago. After initially leaving feeling great about the entire sale and assurance of safety and reliability of my ""new"" auto in driving my own 4 children around, I find myself deeply dissatisfied. The car had to be towed to Cornerstone after it would not start, and since having the car, whenever I used the defrost or AC, the compressor made a strange noise. Service told me the battery was dead and needed to be replaced. And the compressor part that needed to be replaced was not covered under the extended warranty, but that if the compressor itself needed to be replaced, that this would be covered. WHY was the vehicle not given a new battery at the time of sale six months ago? I picked up my car after paying for the new battery. The part needed for the compressor had to be ordered and would take time to come in and I would have to bring the car back another time. At the time I picked up the car, I was told that, in fact, the compressor itself needed to be replaced, NOT the part I was told on phone previously needed to be replaced, and it was NOT covered under warranty. HUH? Now, one week after having the car towed in for the battery failure, the check engine light is on. I called the dealer. The person who sold me the car was ""with a customer:. Service staff person ""Will"" said that perhaps the gas cap is not on correctly and when I bring the car in the have the compressor replaced, labor at my cost, a $45.00 computer hookup fee later, will give me an answer. I will NEVER buy a car from this dealer again.
