Review content:
My country house is in Cary -- not the food center of the world by any means -- so I was thrilled to find the food, service and atmosphere at my neighborhood bar, The Tracks, really great. Mainly, I can't say enough about the food. My parents owned a small resort in Wisconsin with ""tavern food."" The Tracks is almost as good as my mom's. They have extremely good, fresh, high quality food at below reasonable prices. My only complaint was none of their salad dressings were homemade, but I figured that was reasonable since most people don't go to bars for salads. Imagine my delight when they added a seared ahi tuna salad with fresh dressing to the menu. Thanks Leo!
I go alone with friends but also am very comfortable going alone and sitting at the bar and feel very comfortable -- I know the owner and most of the bar staff by name by now, but that's just the maraschino cherry on top. Go for the food and the prices, and the Stella on tap.
