Review content:
On the door of all the Max's Restaurants I've seen, there is a sign ""Critics are not welcome."" It's amusing (and very New York of them) and I don't doubt they'll be around for a long time, but they should allow a few helpful suggestions. We expect to pay $10 for a big fat sandwich at an upscale deli, but don't need to pay $20 for only-decent roasted chicken smothered in sauce with a side of buttered veggies. I look forward to trying their Reuben - I think it might raise their score.
