convenient because of location and price is the reason that this store is still operating. A city like this has really no choice as to where to shop. Yes, prices are great and more reasonable than some retail chains, but the shopping experience makes me want to spend my money else where and more of it. The isles are so packed and un organized. It's not the size or shape of the store it's how they don't take time to put things where they go or pick up things that fall. It takes more time to find what I'm looking for than it does to put it back on the shelf. I have tried asking for help and they point, like I am suppose to know where ""Over there"" is. Half the time you can't find anyone to help and when you do they would rather finish their conversations with whom ever they are speaking with than to help the customer. The manager is as rude as the employees and makes facial and eye gestures that just shouts discrimination. Ther are two, oops now 3 other locations and the only one I would prefer to shop at is the newest one out on Hwy 90. Atleast there they are more willing to help with questions and say Hi when you walk in the door. The isles are clean and more spacious and most of the time things are organized and in the place they were meant to be. I think the difference is that there is a mix of ethnicities in employees. They all seem to be a lot more aware of their jobs, which is to serve the public. I think in all the only two worth anything is the new one and the one going towards Eagle Pass.. I think management higher up should go under cover and see how the veterans store operates, lets see if they are as happy with the customer service standards as they rave to be.I think this store needs to take one of their dictionaries and write the definition of customer service 20 times. Maybe then it will sink in and practice it. I still shop there becasue of location but don't frequent as much as I use to . Pros: located on main blvd, prices, variety of merchandise Cons: customer service, messy and dirty store, un knowledgable staff
