I started taking my pets to Barkington about 10 years ago and it WAS the best place around. Now I would not send Kujo there!!!! The place is disgusting, you can smell the stench from the parking lot! I agree the staff is very unprofessional, I once called and someone answered ""Pink Poodles and P*$$ies, how may I help you?"". I was mortified. I do agree that since Trish Reed left and the whole staff went with her (about 5 years ago) it is no better than a pound now. I overheard the 'manager', a frumpy looking man in jeans and a ratty t-shirt, calling to inform someone that their dog had escaped and had been run over by a car on HWY 3!!!! What's worse, I heard someone down the side hall talking about it happening ""again""!!!!
Pros: None that I can think of.
Cons: Filthy, smelly, rude & immature staff, they don't seem to care at all!
