Review content:
I expect great customer service whenever I step into a pediatricians office. I've been to other offices with great staff and this is not one of them. The pediatricians are great, they take thier time with the patient, cover all steps needed to improve conditions in easy to understand doctor lingo. Today, a clipboard was literally thrown to me so I could update demographics, then come to find out, there are no available flu shots, after being told 2 days prior that the vaccine would be available if we made appointment at that time. THEN, they wanted to charge a copay for the H1N1 shot, when my plans covers all cost, vaccine and administrative fees 100%. This staff member told me that she is going by what the insurance told her, I requested she speak to the rep. I was talking to and she outright refused. Needless to say, after the way I was treated, I left, without my son getting his shot. I called later and spoke to a ""supervisor"" after being told that there was none, but I was being persistant. This woman didn't want to hear me out. Kept interrupting me, doubting the poor customer service given, and once I asked her why she was a supervisor if she wasn't willing to hear what happened, she got defensive and said "" I am ending this phone call"" and hung-up. Are you serious? DON'T GO THERE, there are plenty of good Pediatricians in the area, where the service is much better. I have given this place 1 too many opportunities and today was the icing on the cake. I ended up getting my son a shot last minute at my daughters pediatricians office, only after hearing of my situtation at other office, they felt terrible. And it was cost free!...I'm kinda thinking that this office is scheming patients. I'm thinking that they booked the appt to get me in there knowing they had the H1N1 shot, but not the seasonal flu shot, knowing that would be a seperate appt, therefore....2 copays? Hmm...this isn't over yet until I speak to one of the doctors. I am sure they wouldn't be happy with this service.
Pros: Good Pediatrician
Cons: Poor Customer Service
