My son arrived by ambulance bleeding from a head wound. Sent to registration-signed in-waited an hour before being triaged-waited additional 50-minutes-We were called back and placed in a room and told the nurse would be in a few minutes. After waiting 30-minutes I opened the door to ask at the desk when would we be seen. Next. 20-minutes later the PA entered the room-assessed my son-he needed stitches-she would instruct the nurse to clean the wound and give him tylenol for the pain. 15-minutes later a nurse came in to clean the wound-the PA came in moments later to insert staples and had to wait for the nurse to clean the wound and find scissors to trim wound area-15 minutes later the PA went looking for the nurse and came back with the scissors-the nurse came in moments later.
Pros: nothing, nothing, received bill fast
Cons: long wait, understaff, lack compassion
