Review content:
The problem with ""dollar"" Chinese food places is that the food they serve is rarely edible. Unfortunately, Irvine Chinese Food falls into the category of downright bad. Order up the Kung Pao Chicken and you might wonder if you're really eating chicken. The servings are huge, thanks, but the quality is good for one bite and then you're done. The meat used in cheap Chinese food tends to be table scraps and here was no exception. The atmosphere here is very sterile. I have to add that I really appreciated the afternoon dining room clean up that included a mopping with pure bleach that left us running for the door. Last time I checked the use of bleach for cleaning in an open restaurant was illegal, but who cares because if the bleach doesn't make you sick, the food certainly will.
Pros: Very Inexpensive, Huge Portions
Cons: Horrible Food, Questionable Cleaning Procedures
