If you are looking for a rehab center or nursing home, take a tour and look at the place for yourself. We have been very happy here, and have also witnessed some families have a hissy fit over what they thought was unfair treatment which was really more their guilt and fear over their loved ones being sick. I've seen these same people have their dad stay for months and leave thanking the staff for all their help and the wonderful experience they had. Just like everywhere, some people and families are nasty and take it out on the staff. It's not the Ritz Carlton, and your dad doesn't have a personal chef or sitter. The place is clean, the staff care. Nothing is perfect - look at other places and see if they are any better, and I don't think you will find that to be the case.
