15 years ago, I had been married 4 times unsuccessfully. I had weaknesses with abusive behavior that was part of the blame for my failures in life and family. During a vehicle breakdown in which my car was knocking so bad I was certain I blew the motor up. As I was checking it out, a couple of missionaries came by and offered me help. I turned them down, they were nice and moved on and left me a Book of Mormon. 10 minutes later I found the problem and my car acted like it never happend, I went on to have a wonderful birthday weekend with my son. 3 months later I met my wife and she was Mormon and I asked her to take me to check it out. I joined later that summer and it has changed my life, now no more bad habits, I have been very happily married for 15 years, I have the best relationship with my kids ever. My financial status is more stable that it has been in my 33 adult years, my personal peace is so great now that I know who I am in Gods Plan. I am a Christian who knows that Jesus Christ is my Savior and he died for me that I can return to live with he and my Father in Heaven again. Wow, I was so lost before I found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
