Businiess name:  George Diamond Co
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
""My fiancee and I bought our engagement ring at George Diamond Co. He spent a good amount of money on the ring. I took it to get cleaned with another jeweler just a few weeks later and to my alarm the jeweler informed me that my diamond was CRACKED! There was a huge chip on the side of the diamond, that was visible even without magnification. I could feel the crack when I ran by fingernail along the crack. When I confronted George Thompson's associates about it they denied that it was cracked and said that it had a ""natural dent"" that was internal in the stone. When I showed them that I could feel the crack, they changed their story and said that the diamond had formed that way ""billions"" of years ago in the earth. Instead of giving me a free trade-in they were going to charge me $400 more for a new diamond. I demanded my money back and had them take the diamond back. I took the ring to a different jeweler and got a brilliant diamond with no crack. My fiancee and I are young and hardworking, and were excited to be able to afford a ring. We felt very disrespected, deceived, and taken advantage of. I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE.""
