I came to cartee a few years ago. This is an amazing place. the owers treat every horse ENCLUDING PASTURE BOARD just as if the horse was theirs! ALL the horses are well kept for and everyone ALWAYS has water. The Owner stays up late every night just making sure all horses are ok i and have enough hay and water. you will not see any horse who looks unhealthy. they are all loved and cared for. In some reviews befor mine peope talk about how the pasture board horses are not kept for and are skinny. Cartee gives hay all through the winter and rotates paddocks in the summer so they have plenty of grass. the horses that are so called ""skinny"" were because of the owner not careing for the horse properly. Some horses are easy keepers and only need grass but others you do have to feed them. this is NOT any result of the cartees. they are hard workers and know how to teach the kids! Don and Marie Cartee are excelent instructors! they are the BEST! I have been showing now and have too many ribbons! I am asuccessful rider and its because of them. when i first came there i had no clue how to ride..... and now my goal is the junior olympics and i have jumped 5 ft and have gotten first place AND RES. CHAMPION AT AN ""A"" SHOW! Now anyone who says he cant teach they are RONG! Because when we go to a show EVERYONE of the kids bring home ribbons. Cartee Equestrian Center is a GREAT place for your kids. The barn is like one big family! everyone there is great and every horse is well cared for and loved very dearly. like i said in the above each horse including borders horses are treated like champions and are keept a very good eye on by Don, Marie,Caitlin, and Rachael! this barn is very clean and well kept up with! ILOVE IT THERE AND WILL NEVER LEAVE!
Pros: two thumbs up. most amazing care. horses are in luxury here!
