Review content:
In short, the Ozone Pure Water system will likely cost you many times what you pay for it based on my experience, as well as the experience I've heard from others. I bought a system manufacturered from Ozone Pure Water in 2004 for my family of four and have watched as the system worked fine for a while and then failed every six months, then every 3 months, and now every 60 days. The cost of each pump rebuild is typically $300-$500. A simple gasket from Ozone Pure Water can cost $50 to $75 alone! Since installing it, multiple dealers have warned me that Ozone Pure Water doesn't mind their system failing so frequently as they make so much from the parts. Many dealers refuse to service these systems. I called Ozone Pure and explained I'd tried several of their recommended dealers and spent thousands of dollars and nobody would warranty their equipment for more than about 30 days. Ozone Pure offered to rebuild it themselves (at full price) if I shipped it to them, but they said they don't warranty certain parts on their pumps at all and they should not be expected to. They would do nothing else for me other than to take my money to rebuild my pump at full price every time it failed. The dealers told me the same thing. That's how much they back their own product! I also discussed that our irrigation bypasses the ozone system and we are just a family of four with normal water usage. We're now forced to buy a chlorine system. You have been warned!
Pros: Works for a while
Cons: Breaks down often, repairs are expensive
