Review content:
My boyfriend and I went here for a sort of special-occasion dinner while visiting Lincoln City. At first, we were going to go to another restaurant, but the long wait for a table and generally exasperated waitstaff dissuaded us. I remembered reading good reviews about Andaman, so we decided to go there instead, and we were oh-so-glad we did. Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, the interior is beautifully decorated, as well as cozy. Although it took a few minutes to be seated, the server (whom I suspect is also the owner) quickly returned to get our drink orders. BF ordered a coffee, and I ordered the pomegranate ginger iced tea, which was a little spendy for a non-alcoholic drink, but nevertheless very refreshing and delicious. After looking over the menu and considering appetizers (the angel prawns in particular sounded good), we decided to just stick to dinner, as both of us generally have smaller appetites. He chose the crispy pad thai, and I got the pineapple lover's fried rice. The owner explained to us that, as there were two other tables of six ahead of us, our food might be a while. I thought that was nice of him, rather than simply leaving us to wonder if they were ever coming back. The food was well worth the wait! Presented beautifully, well-prepared, just awesome all around. My rice was slightly spicy, sweet, and had both chicken and shrimp. BF's pad thai was good too, an interesting twist on the dish that we both love. We both finished every bite, and I couldn't help but notice that everyone at the tables around us did as well (one man was even tipping his plate to scoop up every last bit of his curry!) Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a delicious meal in Lincoln City, especially those who are tired of the same old crusted halibut, pasta, or crab cakes. Pros: good food, decent price, cozy atmosphere
