Dr. Hagen was highly recommended by another world class surgeon as the best doctor to remove a tumor from the stomach/esophagus junction. Dr. Hagen was thorough, professional and compassionate.
Dr. Hagen took the time to explain the issues and procedures. He never promised the impossible but was very practical and took it a step at a time. He answered all of the questions I had as well as those of the family members that I brought with me to the consultations.
Dr. Hagen's team was friendly and very bright. I was terrified as it was my first surgery. His team introduced themselves before the surgery and you could just tell how bright they were. I was instantly comforted. While in the hospital Dr. Hagen and his team visited regularly and almost around the clock. Incredibly dedicated people.
Dr. Hagen removed the tumor and after eleven years of illness I am now feeling better than ever before. Dr. Hagen gave me my life back and I will be forever grateful. I did and would trust him with my life again without question.
