Review content:
After going to 3 other local shops for diagnostics spending $400 and having no luck fixing the true problem I finally went to Honest-1 Auto Care on Craig & Losee across from The Cannery. Their diagnostic was $89 and they quoted me with fair labor and parts prices The mechanic took the time to explain the problem which I already suspected but could not confirm on my own and he went into detail about the tell tale signs, what we would have to look at next if this did not fix the problem and why....etc. He kne I personally did a lot of work on my truck and I could probably do the repairs on my own...but their labor price was reasonable enough and the repair swould have been difficult on my own without a lift so I felt comfortable spending my hard earned money. They even let me save $60 and buy my part at Auto Zone and installed it. (No warranty on the part only the labor of course) Most shops wont let you do that....Overall great experience. My repair was to replace the fuel pump on a 1989 Chevy truck.
Pros: Honest mechanic..you could tell he wasn't full of b.s. while speaking to him.
