This little coffee store / sandwich place has changed names several times over the years. They seem to continue to provide delicious alternatives to Peets and Starbucks when it comes to cold drinks. A good cup of coffee can be made at home with a decent coffeemaker and good fresh ground coffee. When I go to a coffee house, I want something I can't get at home. Their cold drinks are innovative and refreshing without gouging your wallet the way Peets and Starbucks do. The pastries they serve there are just simply - scrumptious! The sandwiches are rather so-so, but are tasty if not original. It's hard in today's food climate to be original - so I look for value and taste. They provide both with their entire menu. They also carry little gift items and gift cards if you're looking for something for the coffee lover on your list this holiday season. It's always good to support independent small business owners in your community. Keeps the Mayberry spirit going!
