Review content:
I went here for the first time with my 19 year old severely autistic son who hasn't been able to sit for a haircut in any salon since he was 11 or 12. I've been buzzing his hair at home out of necessity as he wouldn't cooperate with the stylist or even sit in the chair. When I called they told me they could take him right away as they weren't busy. When we got there, I seriously doubted whether they would be able to get him to cooperate and I was right--until my son discovered their collection of DVD's in the back. They have a TV mounted on the wall and Gladys popped in a video and my son was right at home. He then was able to sit, not in the chair, but on a bench. Gladys was very accommodating and even though he got up several times, she was incredibly understanding and patient with him. She gave him an amazing haircut as I stood there in disbelief. It helped also that the salon was uncrowded when we went. This was like a small miracle for my son! I will definitely be back next time.
