Businiess name:  RPM Smog

Review content:
I was the first to arrive, 8:00AM Saturday for a smog check, no other customers in sight. After poping the hood and taking one glance the Mgr or owner came in and told me they could not smog my car because of the aftermarket header. I thought he was kidding. He wasn't. I pointed out it had the proper EO number and had been smoged several times with it. I was told there was a new law that required me to provide documentation verifying the header was the proper one for the car. Skeptical, I drove 3 blocks south to a competitor and had the car smoged. The tech brought the EO number into the office, confirmed it was proper using the internet, and it passed with flying colors. I'm not sure if the folks at RPM are poorly informed, just too lazy to perform their work or what. The shop I used has many more locations so I'm sure they know their business. I don't believe that's the case at RPM Elk Grove.
