Some of the best pho I've had. Pho 79 serves perfectly seasoned broth and noodles (just the right touch of cinnamon and star anise) to a crowd of locals. I tend to prefer the less exotic varieties (no tripe or soft beef tendon for me, please...), but Pho 79 has 'em all. Doctor the soup with the huge platters of bean sprouts, basil, lime and chiles, and slurp your way to the bottom--if you have room. I've never had anything but the pho here, so I can't recommend anything else on the menu, but I've heard good things from others who've branched out.
Pros: great broth, inexpensive
