For those people reading this review, I think it is only fair that you know the whole story. This boat was dropped off with a power trim problem. On a trim issue it could be one of three scenarios. The easiest to check would be the power trim pump?it was OK. The next more difficult are the wires coming from the pump to the lower unit itself. These also checked out OK. This leaves the power trim switch in the remote control handle. If anyone has ever taken a remote control handle apart before, you would understand the difficulty involved. That?s why we save that one for last?problem found. Two hours later, handle still disassembled, the customer is called with an estimate for diagnostics, fixing the problem and parts. We were told at this time that his buddy is a mechanic and will finish the job.
