We made the switch last September and haven't regretted it for a minute. We had been using another vet in New Tampa and were debating switching due to their costs and the distance we had to travel.
Last September when one of my cats became blocked (and eventually had to have surgery), we made the call to Suncoast Veterinary Care Center and haven't looked back.....They are the most caring group of people I have met in a long time. They treated my cat as if he were their own. Everything was explained to us up front including costs.
Our dog has since been diagnosed with cancer and they have been nothing but caring and compassionate as we deal with his problems. Whenever we have a concern, they are quick to either call us back with an answer or get us in to see the doctor.
Dr. Sullivan has been wonderful, she always has the time to talk to us and answer any questions about our dog's health. I feel as if she is always up front with me and isn't just continuing to treat my dog or prolong his life just to make a buck. I never feel as if she is rushing out of the exam room to go to the next patient as I did with my previous vet.
They are there 7 days a week which is extremely convenient for the working folks.
The staff is very friendly. Whenever I call or go in, they always greet me with a smile and a friendly Hello. They ask how my pets are doing (if I'm not there for an appointment) and they actually listen when I tell them how my pets are doing.
If you live nearby and are looking for a great vet, give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.
