Review content:
We are a ballet family (7+ years) and have taken classes at several of the top studios in Portland. Portland Youth Ballet is by far my favorite. The instructors develop each individual dancer physically, emotionally and artistically. They teach the dancers to support and encourage each other's individual process. The directors knowledge of ballet technique and their teaching skills are exemplary. Every year dancers taught by this teaching staff go on to professional dance companies. The artistry at this studio includes ballet choreography with humor(!!), as well as beautiful, original classical ballet pieces.
