We heard the food was excellent, so we went to see for ourselves. The first time was a Wednesday night, and the restaurant was not busy at all. At one point, our waitress left us alone for 1 entire hour. Since the food is served in actual pans, we had a full table of metal pans in front of us- we ended up clearing the table ourselves into a nearby bus-tray. Food was great as we heard, but we were there for a total of 3 HOURS!!!! Unacceptable. Since the food was so good- we gave it a second chance. We will never go back. The man who sat us (who turned out to be the owner MICHAEL) was extremely rude and made us feel like we were bothering him by coming in. The group of 4 people behind us were also displeased with his attitude and actually left the restaurant. Not to mention the waitress who was at the hostess stand swearing about not wanting to wait on ""so many tables""- really unprofessional. So, again we ate some great food, and got out of there as quickly as possible. There are a lot of great italian restaurants in this area with staff that aims to please it's customers. This place is not worth it. If you are willing to travel to Hartford, CT- go to Francesco's Ristorante, fabulous service & food, great entertainment.
