Review content:
I've read a couple of reviews about Ketchup, and I won't lie, they made me hesitate trying the new trendy Hollywood hot spot. But because it is also owned by the same people who have the Geisha House and Dolce restaurant, I had to give them the benefit of the doubt... and I'm glad I did! I was not at all surprised at the over-the-top excellence I have seen at the other restaurants. The staff were great-- very friendly and very efficient. The decor was electric and extremely hip. It made me feel young! The appetizers were a bit large, but I was grateful because most restaurants seem to have disappointingly small appetizer portions for large groups. The five flavors of ketchup were very tastey and it was fun to see which flavor went with what appetizer. Ketchup is a very original take on traditional American barbeque, and it was nice to see such refreshing creativity in the restaurant scene.
Pros: delicious American food!! who knew?!
Cons: so many ketchup choices, so little time!
