I finally tried this place out last weekend, and it was a wash. I was looking for a place to throw my buddy?s birthday bash, and after meeting their event planner out, she convinced me to give this place a shot (and it sounded perfect). Well, let me tell you: don?t let the descriptions and previous reviews fool you. Upscale? Maybe if you are the kind of person who considers Hoote** (apparently I'm not allowed to say the name of the chain restaurant where girls wear the orange shorts) an acceptable destination. Fun? I would have more fun at the local tavern that wasn?t trying to be something that it wasn?t. Friendly staff? Don?t even get me started on the staff?it wasn?t that they were not friendly (although they weren?t overly so), it was that they were very unprofessional. I didn?t come here as a substitute for a strip joint. I came to have a drink, and maybe a cigar. And even if the girls were attractive, I don?t go to bars to flirt with the staff. All in all, this place was a big letdown. It is a very average bar, that is stuck somewhere between r*dneck watering hole and high-class lounge. And they?ve managed to take the worst of each one. Sorry Sharon. The only reason I might venture back into this place is in the hopes of seeing you again. And hopefully it won?t come down to that?because this place is bad.
