They did a great job selling their services. From that point on, it was all down hill. I took my Mac to them as they were identified as an authorized repair company. My hard drive had crashed. They stated that they are ""linked"" into the Apple system and they can process any warranty or otherwise via Apple. They also indicated that they could recover my data at much cheaper rate than any body else. They were given the job. After calling every day for 10 days, I was told that they are still working on data recovery and had not processed the hard drive replacement. After two weeks, upon once again calling, as they do not call to advise as to the status of your work, they had recovered all of my data and the cost will be $250. I questioned the price and the quality of data and if they could identify the data and in what format and arrangement they were. I was told that they do not have the right programs to read it (Parallel and Windows) but they see a block of information. I was not happy about the data nor about the price since it was not discussed with me. I asked to finish the Drive replacement and would settle the day after. They stated the work would be done the day after (exactly 14 days after I dropped it off) at 5 PM. At 5 PM, they were not done, they said it would be a few more minutes. I asked for my hard drive in addition to showing me the recovered data. The old hard drive was somewhere on his work bench, unprotected, dispute repeated requests that I would want it back. The data recovered were not recognizable. Three folders with sub folders, unrecognizable to me. No data could be opened and shown to me, not even simple music or pictures. His price for the hard drive had gone up from $169 to $220, the data recovery from $250 to $390! In the mean time, he could not provide me the ""image of hard drive"" as was indicated and requested, in addition to all the data being useless. In all, he gave me a bill for $720 and change! All without approval. I disputed the charge and walked out. When I got home I realized that the password of my machine was changed and upon contacting him, he would not give it to me. He also installed the wrong version of the OS on the machine. Lion vs Snow Leopard. Worst, no data was recognizable and something inside the machine was moving. I took it to Apple the day after where I found out that they had installed the hard drive without securing it. The hard drive was bouncing around every time you would move the machine. Oh, when he gave me the bill, he asked me to wait outside while he Prayed!
