If your child is sick Dover peds is great at getting them in that day. Having such a large staff is a double edged sword, as with many large practices, you rarely see the same doctor. While the emergencey care my son has recieved was wonderful, the routine care is lacking. The phone line is ALWAYS busy when I call, and trying to change an appoint is almost impossible. We made a routine appointment in Dec for the end of March I was told to name the day and time as it was all open. I called a week later when I was told I would have to work that day and was told (aburptly) I could either keep the appointment, or reschedule for May all of March and April was full. My son is sick quite a bit, and I do feel our concerns are brushed off we are told every single time that it's a virus, or he has allergies, but they have thus far told us a referal to an allergerist isn't needed, even though my son is ""sick"" more often than not. Overall I think the lack of ""customer service"" and the ""we're too busy"" attitude ruin this practice. We are currently looking for a new ped.
