Overpriced and incompetent only begins to tell the story. If you are a spendthrift masochist, you will think Rutley is the best dentist in Del Mar;.
Every single root canal I got from him has failed over the years. I've had to extract every ""restoration"" and replace them with implants.
His anesthetic injections caused numerous hemotomas thanks to his rough needle work. He has the grace of a linebacker and brings all of it to the dental chair.
Root canals have gone the way of leech bleeding and for him to claim he's done 3000 of them is probably quite true. None of them should have been done in the first place . It's an antiquated and useless procedure. .
What an expensive lesson in dentistry Rutley provides to the ignorant.
