Review content:
have used United Maids of America for approximately 2 years, intermittently. They have been uneven in their cleaning. They once broke an expensive lamp. I did get reimbursed. On a recent occasion, I left out my cleaning supplies to just do my floor, bathroom and kitchen cleaned, and my apartment vacuumed. They used Lestoil, to which I am allergic. I required a trip to the emergency room and was placed on steroids for 5 days, had to leave my windows open in the blistering heat, and was sick from this experience. The owner sent back the crew & promised a refund for the part in which I only wanted my floors, bathroom and kitchen wiped down, and vacuuming. On this occasion, I wanted my entire apartment cleaned. The crew came back and neither dusted properly nor redid my floors, kitchen and bathroom properly not to mention dusting properly. I called the owner and asked for a refund for the ENTIRE cleaning. She would only refund me for the original Lestoil experience. I am very unhappy, to say the least, and absolutely do not recomment this service. This is the first time I have ever published a negative review about anyone.
