I can't believe I've just discovered this place! I've lived in Raleigh for over 10 years and wish I could go back in time.
I have a friend of mine that live in New York and orders their coffee from Tradewinds' website and swears by it. He's the one that let me know this place was in my backyard.
After talking with him, I hopped in my car, drove over... and it's a trip I'm going to take a lot now.
BUT BE WARNED: It is not a coffeehouse. They do have a coffee bar for drinks, etc and a couple tables... but don't think you're going to cozy up with a book (like I thought!).
Also, I did notice they don't have long hours (I guess since it is just an outlet store). I can't remember exactly but think it's Mon - Fri from 9 or 10am to 6ish.
If you're looking for coffee by the pound, this is the place to go :-). And the staff is awesome with their recommendations. And it's fresh! They roast it all right there.
It's in North Raleigh and worth the trip!
