Review content:
My family has been going to Imperial Garden for several years and we LOVE it! It looks like your typical strip mall Chinese restaurant, but the food is of a much higher quality than most places. My favorite Chinese dish is kung pao chicken, and the version served here is the best I've ever eaten anywhere, period. It's so much better than the kung pao chicken I've had in cities famous for their Chinese restaurants like San Francisco and Toronto. At most places the kung pao chicken is mostly cheap-tasting vegetables with a few bits of chicken and some peanuts, but at IG the dish features tons of chicken and peanuts in a thick, spicy sauce that's amazing.
The fried rice is great, too, as is the egg drop soup. Combine the high quality, tasty dishes with prompt, capable service and very reasonable prices and you've got a definite winner.
Pros: outstanding food, reasonable prices, easy parking
