Review content:
I brought in two pairs of shoes and a bag to be repaired. The side seam was coming out in a pair of Dansko mary jane's, the bag strap was beginning to tear at the seam (about 1/2"" tear), and the back heal of my husband's shoe was soft. The gentleman said he would restitch the side seam of the Dansko's and reinforce the rest of the seams, stitch the rip in the bag strap, and cut open the back of the shoe heal and reinforce it. The cost started at $35 - he kept changing his mind and finally quoted us $50. A week later went to pick up the items to find we owed a total of $55. He stitched the seam in the Dansko's but did not reinforce the rest, there did not seem to be any change in my husbands shoe besides a new stitch, and he forget to do my bag! He said it would take him 5 minutes to do the bag; 15-20 minutes later he was finished. We used to only go to Bill at Schuler Shoes in Southtown Mall - but they closed! If anyone knows where Bill went - please let me know!
