As a party of 4, my parents took my husband and I to the restaurant. My mother was the only one who'd been before, and she relayed her previous experience as ""pretty good"".
She was really underrating the place! I truly consider myself a ""foodie"", and have pretty high expectations. I ordered the Mustard Encrusted Salmon, which literally melted in my mouth. Absolutely the best salmon i've ever had, with perfectly cooked vegetables and a great wild rice pilaf. Mom had the Tilapia Picatta, dad ordered the pot roast, and my husband got the Delmonico steak. As I type this he's saying how delicious it was, even with the glace (which , as a man with simple tastes, is saying a lot). Everyone was so satisfied with what they ordered, no one even asked to sample anyone else's!
The waitress and hostess was nice, no real complaints there. Very nice environment, casual and relaxing.
Just nitpicking, it kind of sucks you don't choose your appetizer salad. What you get is a small salad with dried cranberries and cherries, walnuts, red onions, and a housemade balsamic vinagerette (tasting rather mustardy). It was tasty, but I really just wanted a simple dinner salad.
Oh, and for my birthday, I got a free brownie- ice cream thing :-D
