A good med-rare cheese burger is one of the great joys in my life, and I've eaten them everywhere in New York from high-end spots like Dumont or Rare to Paul's on 2nd Ave to the diner around the corner. Hands down, the guys at 67 Burger serve one of the best burgers I've ever had. The burgers are always the perfect temperature, the turkey burgers are never dry (my new favorite), and the fries are always crispy. AND...they make amazing milkshakes. Beer milkshakes. I dream about them. Grab something off their list, or make up a ridiculous concoction of a burger from the vast selection of toppings they have (avocado, roasted peppers, artichokes, mushrooms, and on and on and on). It's all good. And the salads are huge and the perfect thing for when I've just gone to the gym and feel too guilty to stuff myself full of meat (I love the house salad and the thai chicken salad!). The staff is really friendly, and they play some of the best music anywhere! (really, i mean it. anywhere.) As for the prices, it's considerably cheaper than anywhere else you might go for lunch or dinner in New York. I rarely spend more than $10-$15 on a burger, fries, and a beer, which is amazing given how good the food is. If you don't care about the quality of your food and just want something cheap to eat, there are a plethora of fast-food joints scattered all over Brooklyn who will serve you their far-below-mediocre-fare for $7. This place is worth every cent of the money I spend there and I am happy to walk 10 blocks for it even in the dead of winter. And my friends are happy to take the train to meet me there. My recommendation...go there now. In the 2 dozen times I've eaten there in the past few months, I've never had a bad experience with anyone who works there, or been disappointed by the food. Pros: honestly good food clearly made with love Cons: they won't come to my house and cook dinner for me every night
