I went here to get eye lash extensions. Ive been really excited about getting them and i've done a lot of research before I actually when to get them. I finally booked my appointment with Gaultier Spa because I tan at dessert sun and I always see the sign that says ""eyelash extensions 85$"", I got them done by Kim, and i've read, and talked to a lot of different eyelash extensions salons and it's not ment to hurt when they put the extensions on. When she was doing my eyelashes I was in constant pain. I have no idea what she was doing, but the fake eyelash was pokling the underskin of my eye, and it remained that way after I left, on numbers parts of my eye. They itched and hurt so bad, I knew this wasn't ment to be happening, i've watched numerous youtube videos, know people who have them, read on websites, talked to professionals, and you're not even ment to know they are there. It was awful. I finally called another salon to double check if this was ment to be normal at first, she said and another salon said ""absolutely not. They even described to me, what I was probably feeling and if I am feeling them it could cause serious damage to my own eyelashes and become increasingly painful as the eyelashes grow out. I was so upset, I called Kim back and I asked for her to remove them immediately and demanded my money back since she didn't do them properly. They didn't even look good, they were all droopy, and one eye clearly had more than the other. I was so upset. Kim told me that I couldn't have my money back and that she would try to take them off. I told her this was unfair, she just sat on the phone and argued with me and wouldn't even give me a chance. Im a college student and I really don't have that much money or time to spend on stuff like this, I just wanted to do it as a treat for myself, she said no, and finally said bye. She was so rude, im so upset, and I just want them off now. I don't trust Kim to do it, so I actually booked a appointment with another salon even though it's going to cost me $40. I have to do it because they hurt so bad, they are itchy, and they don't look good at all. PLEASE, I wrote this reveiw for a purpose, unfortunatly, I was the person to have to experience this, but please spend the extra money and go somewhere else where they know what they are doing. It's worth it. I don't want you to feel like I do right now because it's an awful feeling. I will never go here again, and honestly im afraid to get eyelash extensions again just because this experience was so awful. I hope this helps with your decision.
