Review content:
I took my bike to Sam after it was recommended to to me by a guy at Cycle Gear. I should have know it was going to be a disaster when I first saw the place. He had a couple of bikes sitting around in his shop mostly ATV's and dirt bikes but it looked like he didn't really have any customers. I told him the bike wasn't running right and that I needed the carbs cleaned and a valve adjustment.
I also told him to take his time and left. After two weeks at Sam's he called me and told me that he had done the valve adjustment, cleaned the carb's but he couldn't get it running right. He charged me $300.00 and gave me some suggestions as to what he tough was wrong and I went on my way. At home I decided to check on the work he had done and found that the bike wasn't running right because of a loose connection in the CDI which I don't really fault him for not finding since I know electrical problems can be a PITA to diagnose and find. What really gets my goat is the fact that I decided to check on the valves and they where all out of adjustment and three bolts on the valve cover where striped. Also, The carb's had bolts with striped heads and some of the screws and washers had been replaced and mismatched also, the floats where all out of adjustment.
I have since tried to contact him to try and resolve the situation but he has not troubled himself to return any of my calls.
BEWARE!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE THERE!!!
