We finally got a chance to try Iorio last night and what a wonderful experience!!! The food was amazing, very carefully prepared and explosive unique flavors, we loved it. Two of us had the Chef's special which I highly recommend; two others ordered off the menu. We sampled a bit of everything and I can honestly say we thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Not the usual Italian place, no olive oil and bread which can be a bore, instead they started us with warm bread and an unusual spread which we are fairly certain was butternut squash and roasted garlic. Additionally, a plate of chickpeas, carmelized onions and balsamic (guessing here) was complimentary and it was yummy as well. Favorites of us all were the caesar salad and the homemade meatballs which were paired with tagliatelle pasta. We really appreciated the chef taking the time to greet and thank us for coming; it seemed to us that he was a very genuine person who truly cared about the food he was preparing. No stuffy attitudes or outrageous prices here, just wonderful service, food and ambience. THANK YOU!!! We will definitely be back! Pros: Great food, good prices, no attitudes Cons: ???
