I had this company come to my home in 2008 to clean mold out of my attic and walls. The service was terrible, the workers left a mess, and the sales person over bid the job . The workers left 6 bags of mold infested drywall in my front yard, several of which were torn exposing the mold to the neighborhood. Would you want your kids and your pets playing in a neighborhood where Above Board Remediation Technologies has left toxic black mold laying around? One representative of the company said it wasn't their problem. The sales person estimated 8 hours of work and charged me for 8 hours when it took 4 people 4 hours to complete the task. One worker made a personal call during work and was overheard telling someone that the company commonly overestimates jobs so they can do personal things on company time. Actually that was my time and money he was wasting! The owner finally agreed to refund $1800 of the $3600 I was charged but never paid and never returned any more phone calls after the deadline he set had passed. The company has since lost its BBB accreditation and is no longer a member of servicemagic. Do not do business with this company!
