Been to Sugar twice... and will go back several more times! It's not the place to rock out with your crazy group of friends for a wild nite out on the town.. it's meant as a pit stop to enjoy a couple cocktails and actually ENGAGE in a conversation. Music was good, but I'm known to be partial towards lounge/house.. although speakers need 2b fixed: too much treble, ouch. Dim lighting made everyone look good, ample stools, few couches, tiiiny nook crammed in the back for you lucky threesome who gets there first.. plenty of free snacks (cheese, crackers, breads, veggies) provided. Bartenders were great, although we didn't attempt to order wine and stuck w/ reg cocktails. Try it!
Pros: you'll get a seat, cozy lounge, free snacks!
Cons: can be too quiet, not much else around
