Review content:
Partridge Roofing was recommended to us by a friend as a competent contractor that responded to customer needs. We hired them more than two years ago to replace a flat, rubber roof on our ranch home that another contractor had installed poorly. We were not shopping for price, but for excellent work, and, when they showed up with professional brochures and made a point to highlight their availability and responsiveness to homeowners, we decided to work with them. We found them to be far better at marketing, however, than delivering quality work. They stripped and replaced the old roof and installed two new skylights. A short time later, we developed leaks in one of the new skylights and an existing one (which had never leaked before). In some instances, the water POURED from the skylights. They came out a few times but failed to fully fix the issues. The time between repair visits became longer and longer, then fewer and fewer. They then promised to re-fit the skylights they had installed, and ""curb"" them (which they perhaps should have done in the first place), but we never heard from them again. We called repeatedly over many, many months. Finally, we joined Angie's List, where Partridge was a listed roofer, and registered a complaint. When Patridge failed to respond to our complaint, they were removed from the List. Also, while we had hoped that this was just a problem with skylight installation, which can be tricky to install and keep watertight, especially on a shallow roof, we got more bad news. To add insult to injury, we were just told by another contractor that there is a failure on another part of the rubber roof, on a section of the house without skylights. So now the integrity of the entire roof is in question. Considering our experience, I would never, ever recommend Partridge Roofing to anyone.
Cons: Fails to complete work; fails to follow through on work promised.
