Businiess name:  Sea Island Shrimp House
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Go to their website to downlod a coupon for a free shrimp ceviche cocktail. Just liek everything else at Sea Island, the first couple of bites takes a bit getting used to...then you realize that this ""different"" taste is really, really amazing. From their ""hot"" green beans (the absolute best!) to fresh fries, everything I have ever had there is always hot and fresh. Be patient if you are here on a Friday night of Saturday, but the wait is worth it. Their signature is the ""Charbroiled shrimp"", which are lightly breaed, then half-fried and finished over thegrill. Coconut shrimp are also bomb, oh, and the gumbo is the best I've had this side of Galveston. And I don't even like gumbo or seafood that much. But Shrimp island changed that. When we have out of town guests staying with us, a trip to Shrimp Island is always on the agenda.
