Zero stars!--this place is a run of the mill place in a strip mall, by no means a spa. Meaning cheap laminate flooring, unorganized shelves, questionable hygiene of tools and nail stations so close to one another you and the person next to you become very well acquainted with one another's services.
I was charged $45 for a gel polish application and another $25 for an ""Ultimate manicure.""
First the gel polish--while she was cutting my cuticles, she cut into the skin on 2 fingers and didn't say a word. Just kept going. I felt the pinch but didn't notice until the 2nd round of clear gel application that there was old blood dried underneath the polish right down by 2 of my cuticle beds! Gross!! And then she proceeded to use the acetone polish remover on my nails to clean up the errors and did that ever BURN! Can you imagine, if you were painting someone's nails, and they were bleeding you didn't say a word but just painted over it!!?!!
In between long periods of NOT talking to me at all, she would randomly try to sell me services. I agreed to the ultimate manicure which I asked how much, and was told it was an upgrade, but only about $12 more...WRONG--it was $25 more! And they use this Chinese burning clear oil on your massage that burns like Ben-gay to the 10th degree! How can they justify charging another $25 for some salt rub and smelly oil?
When I went to pay I could NOT believe it was $65 for that! I could go to a actual Day Spa and pay that price and get 10x's more ambience and relaxation. To top it off, one of the technicians working on another woman's hands, while the polish was curing went out and had a cigarette--right outside the front door. Another women who was less than a foot away from me at the next station, her cuticle was bleeding too! And her tech just used that mechanical file right over it! You could see the blood go onto the file but she just kept buffing! How crude and gross.
Do NOT go here; you get what you pay for at these strip mall joints but $65?! not to mention gouged and burned? You've got to be kidding me.
