My family and I ate at J and J Cafe for the first time tonight. J and J met and exceeded our expectations.
First of all, even though it was dinnertime and the menu states a timeframe when breakfast is served, they were kind enough to prepare a ""Breakfast For Dinner"" omelette, hash browns and bacon for my 12 year old. He was VERY happy. The eggs tasted fresh, like they were gathered this morning. Excellent!
There are some really awesome menu choices. They have your basic options but they also have some very special things like Venison Chili (loved it). I had the Pecan Chicken Salad and it was out of this world. The Ruben sandwich was enjoyed very much as well with a special mention of how the corned beef was cut and how tender it was. Don't expect to get your run of the mill french fries next to your sandwich or burger. J and J makes their own homemade potato chips that are to die for! There is someone with specialty skills cooking in the kitchen and he cares what you think. He came out and asked how our dinner was.
Service with a smile, fair prices, a nice clean eating area.
